| | Student Council Elects Officers | | Student Council Officers for 2008-2009 are: Amy Seger, President; KC Carr, Vice President, Bernie Dela Cruz, Secretary and Alyssa Akers, Treasurer. All four officers are incoming Seniors.

| | JPII Accreditation | | On June 4, 2008, the State of Indiana Department of Education granted Accreditation to John Paul II Catholic High School. Now, our school is fully accredited and no longer needs to rely on Seton Home Study School to grant a diploma to our graduates. We have the legal authority to grant our own diplomas. Our Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors will take the GQE exam Sept. 16-18, 2008. Our high school will continue to use the Seton Home Study School curriculum and grading system as it is designed to teach students in accord with the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
